China and the U.S. have a long history of cooperation with each other in health field, and have carried out many practical cooperation projects. Chinese Hospital Association and American Hospital Association have established communication with each other and maintained pragmatic exchanges and private cooperation between Chinese and American medical institutions. In November 2018, the 2018 China-U.S. Hospital President Forum organized by American Hospital Association and co-organized by Chinese Hospital Association was held in Washington, U.S. 
“U.S.-China Track II Dialogue on Healthcare” is an important event under the framework of “China-U.S. Social and People-to-People Dialogue Action Plan”, and Liu Qian, Chairman of CHA, works as the leader of Chinese expert team therein. International Cooperation Department of CHA assists and supports specific work.
